Donate Your Shoes Post-race!
Ruckus Sports is excited to partner with Barrel Aid to provide shoes to children and teens in need. Barrel Aid will collect your muddy shoes post-event, clean them and ship them to Mission-Haiti’s schools in the mountains around Ti-Rivier, Haiti with all of the remaining shoes going to children and teens in need in the Dakota area. Barrel Aid supplies clean shoes, fresh water, food, schooling and hope for over 1,600 children in Southern Haiti where no other groups are serving and the need is extremely urgent.
Parking & Directions
Parking is available at the Marshfield Fairgrounds,140 Main St, Marshfield, MA. The lot will open at 6:30 am. Upon arrival, parking attendants will direct you to a parking spot. * The cost is $10/vehicle (Cash Only)*
Packet Pick Up
Packet pick up takes place on race day at the Marshfield Fairgrounds. We recommend that you arrive 1 to 1.5 hours early to give yourself time to park, register and get ready to Ruckus. You will check in using your bib number. You must bring your Photo ID. Steps to a successful packet pick up:
- Bring your signed waiver.
- Remember your bib number.
- Bring your photo ID.
Gear Check
There will be a complimentary gear check available. Use the removable tag on your race bib to attach to your bag. A security company will be on site checking all bags.
Timing Chip
Timing chips are included when you pick up your registration packet. Participants receive two timing chips: one on the back of your bib number, and one "D-tag" that you will put into your shoe laces. The "D-tag" should be looped around your shoe laces and fastened with an adhesive already on the "D-tag." Runners must wear both their bib number and the "D-tag" to receive an accurate time and finish placement.
Champions Heat @ 1:00 pm
Runners qualifying for the Champions Heat should return to the registration tent to receive a new bib number. The top 10% of finishers in the Men's, Men's Master (40+), Women's & Women's Master (40+) in Saturday's 8:00 am - 11:00 am waves qualify. Please note: Should you qualify for the Champions Heat, tell the registration team your original bib number when receiving your bib for the Champions Heat.
Kids Mini Ruckus
Kids Mini Ruckus opens at 8:00 am and closes at 2:00 pm on Saturday, and is open 9:30 am and closes at 11:30 am on Sunday. Each mini participant receives a bib, t-shirt and a finisher medal. Mini Ruckus participants will receive their bib number and can sign up on-site. The fee is $20 per participant (cash/check only).
Spectators
This year’s course was built specifically with spectators in mind, and as a result, much of the course is visible to spectators. Spectator passes can be purchased on-site for $10 (cash only). Children under the age of 10, and registered participants do not need to purchase a spectator pass.
